Pain Moments - Living God Moments

I read somewhere that there are certain stars that you can see in the desert that you can't see in the city. When I read that I thought of all the darkness and valleys we all will or have to journey at some point in our lives in all sorts of intensities and degrees. I only write to say that I am disappointed with God in my expectations, but then I am reminded of Philippians and how Paul reminded the church of the key to life is JOY in all circumstances because HE is our source of strength... He has overcome LIFE, DEATH... Now, that I am in a recurring valley of life, I find God closer in a way that is peaceful and intimate in midst of all the chaos of emotions I'm experiencing. The only encouragement and praise I can give ALWAYS- is that God is enough because he paid a price for my life, which makes me valuable, worth every tear, every heartache and situation I face in life. That even when I let go, He still holds me, that when I cry and turn away, He will always remain-and for His faithfulness and the gift of faith I will always give praise.
