I just have to share how God shows up in very little situations when we are listening to Him. I lost my glasses and it's not good timing to go get a new perscription. So I went a couple of days blind (well blurry vision) and I was praying asking God for direction. Suddenly, I had the urge to go look under my nightstand. I obeyed and thought maybe God was directing me to my glasses. Instead I found a box of contacts that had been miss placed since we moved. Ha! God is so amazing!!! Had to share because I could not stop smiling!

First I must praise and give GOD the glory for the past month.....My mother is a breast cancer surviver, my sister is currently battling stage 4 breast cancer......Doctors found two large lumps, and became very concerned considering family history, 3 major test's where conducted, and today the last came back ' clean' no cancer....From the start I knew God was bigger then this, and that he would not allow more then our family could bare...I felt his peace wash over my body, and he took my hand and lead me into his ' rest', no matter the circumstances I knew he would never leave me, that strength would rise from within and 'we' would face whatever may lay ahead.....my health is good, but my God is mighty and greatly to be praised....thank you father for your mercy and grace, thank you for hearing my prayers and not allowing to much on my Mother, two sick daughters would have been to much sorrow...forever grateful......your daughter tracy.....[ I LOVE YOU SO ]

For almost a year now, my daughter has had unexplainable episodes of vomiting randomly all through the night. She is six years old and 34lbs, so this tiny princess would become so frail and weak. We saw two pediatricians, a Urologist, and went to the ER a total of four times. No one had answers. This last week she had three episodes in one week. I feared dehydration. After 6hrs of relentless throwing up, my daughter told me not to be afraid. It was then I cried myself to sleep praying for God to give "this" a name and some answers. The next morning I took her to the Urgent Care, we were met by a kind spiritted doctor. When I described the desperation of her symptoms, she smiled and said her daughter experienced the exact symptoms when she was five. We now have a possible diagnosis to a treatable condition. I praise God for touching me in such a compassionate way. He sent not only an answer but also a professional and mother that could relate in sypathizing way. Why wasn't I more specific in my prayers about the situation before?!

After a crazy weekend at the hospital with a sick loved one, I was going through the drive-through today. I ordered my food and waited to get to the second window. When I got to the window the car in front of me had paid my bill and wanted me to have a blessed day. Thank you stranger, it was:) Looking forward to blessing someone else in this neat way!

This is one of those simple moments when God just reminded me of his abiding love! It'd been a really long day of trying to get a medical procedure set up that I really didn't want to go through in the first place (!) ..and there were several phone calls that had to be made in order to do so. Most all of the people that I had come in to contact with that day had been rude, short with me or had me on 'hold' endlessly. In total frustration, I cried out to God and said 'Lord, it sure doesn't seem like anybody has TIME for anybody any more! EVERYBODY is in a hurry and I feel shoved around!'..just then, I was getting my office where I work ready for the end of the day and trying to get ready to head home. I happened to grab the daily devotional that I keep in the office and read it. The title of the devotional that just 'happened' to be open for the day was this: "GOD has time for you!" Now, some would say that is merely a coincidence but I do not believe it is. GOD knows WHAT we need, EXACTLY when we need it. It was a short devotional but it reminded me of exactly what I needed to hear..which was that GOD does have time for us.....when everybody else is in a hurry, GOD will sit down with us and listen to our story ..our feelings, emotions, hurts and all the things that WE consider important..well, guess what? HE considers it important as well! Praise God for those simple moments where HE just reminds us to crawl up in HIS lap and 'BE STILL and KNOW that I AM GOD!"

On a beautiful San Diego Saturday, one of my friends and I decided to go on a bike ride. The trail led us through a military cemetery. As we passed, thinking nothing of it, I saw a mom and her young son exit a vehicle and walk towards a row of headstones. We continued on with the ride for about 10 more minutes until we turned back. We then return on the same path and I saw the two kneeling next to a grave. As we continued on riding, I suddenly became compelled to stop. I set my bike down and started walking over to them. Without knowing what to say, I knelt down alongside. I looked her in the eyes and asked, "May I pray with you?" She was taken back by my approach, but seemed to warm up quite quickly. She proceeded to tell me that her son was killed only a few days after being deployed to Afghanistan. She then told me that she had been struggling to find God's presence during that time. I believe that God used me to remind her that He is still there - I can only hope I didn't get in the way. Praise God for his unending grace!
